Best stay ever

We were doing honeymoon and babymoon and Makadi hotel was the best hotel we ever stayed. It has amazing rooms and pools and outside spaces. The food is great but what is excepcional is the staff. Specially Mr. Hanna. The staff is extremely nice and helpful. best hotel we have ever stayed.

Beautiful and perfect for honeymooners.

Everything was so amazing. The staff was extremely kind and helpful, particularly Hanna went above and beyond for us. We are so grateful to have met him during our stay. Food was also amazing my husband loved all of the restaurants and he is a foodie. This is a lovey location for honeymooners.

Wifi was a bit slow and choppy but not a big deal. Additionally this is not a sandy beach and the snorkeling on the beach was not great but this is not the fault of the resort, it is just the Makadi area. Keep this in mind if you’re looking for a white sand beach!

A Fantastic Resort for a Relaxing Break

In one word: fantastic. Before booking, think about what you're looking for in a holiday. If it's relaxation and a break from chaos, the Makadi Spa Resort is the perfect setting.It’s about 40 minutes by car from Hurghada centre, so keep that in mind if you plan to go to hurghada often. We absolutely loved our stay. The staff were incredibly kind and hospitable throughout. There was a bit of confusion on arrival, as it's not immediately clear where to go or what to do. However, Hannah from Makadi Spa was incredibly helpful and made everything much easier. The resort is part of a large, beautifully designed complex connected by a scenic seaside promenade. You can walk through different areas and discover something new every day — it felt like staying in a charming village. A walk is also a great idea after indulging in the all-inclusive meals! The spa facilities were excellent and really added to the sense of relaxation. A tip: negotiate on spa prices — there’s room for discounts. One of the highlights was the variety of à la carte restaurants included in the all-inclusive package. Each had a different menu and setting, so every evening felt special. There are also gelaterias and bars included, unless you opt for premium products (clearly marked). We loved being able to try something new each day, and the food was always tasty and well prepared. A recommendation: make use of the Terrazza restaurant for lunch — it has an incredible sea view and a great à la carte menu (try the kofta!).. The beach is lovely, with calm water for relaxing swims and great snorkeling. Importantly, reserving umbrellas is not allowed — no need to wake up early to claim a spot! There are always plenty available. If you prefer pools, you’ll be spoiled for choice — there are many throughout the complex, all beautifully integrated into the landscape and often with sea views.

Breakfast with a sea view would have been much nicer. Both breakfast restaurants (the cove and the world) don't have a sea view, but perhaps this varies by season (we visited over Easter)

Perfect place to have a peaceful, stress free vacation!

Beautiful hotel in a very secure private area that contains a few other Makadi hotels which you can visit and use their facilities too. We booked the Junior Suite with the Sea View and absolutely loved it. The room was really nicely decorated, spacious, clean and comfortable. The view of the sea and the swimming pool was fantastic. The hotel offers a buffet style dinner or a selection of a la carte restaurants. We didn't get a chance to try the buffet, but the a la carte restaurants were really good. As vegetarians, we liked the Asian one the most. The area has a really nice long strip of the beach where you can stroll in the mornings. Also, we were really surprised how good the yoga classes were. Usually the hotels have a very basic class, but we really enjoyed the ones offered here. The air yoga is a must try, but the spaces are limited, so make sure to come early to get yours. We'd like to thank Mr. Hanna for all his help during our stay. We felt very welcomed and looked after. Definitely recommend the place to all our friends and family.

Please sort the Wi-Fi problem. All hotels should be able to offer free fast Wi-Fi nowadays.

Amazing hotel and very glad i was able to stay here while i was in makadi Bay!! I would stay here again.

I really enjoyed my stay here! From arriving to leaving everything went smoothly and the staff were super nice. I loved the pools, the beach and the spa. Mina, Badry and Hanna went above and beyond to make my stay here enjoyable. I really appreciate their kindness and the help they provided!! A great place to celebrate turning 30.

I thought the wifi was spotty, the gym wasn’t opened at the correct time and my room had a strange smell.

The whole staff was trying to accommodate each and every of our requests. They were so kind and helpful. The resort is divine and it has a lot of facilities. I would love to thank the front desk, Hanna, the waiters, chef, housekeeping and every person who made our trip memorable. Wonderful complex in Hurgada!

The complex is big with many facilities. The beach and all the pools are beautiful, clean and well kept; my room was spacious and with a nice view. People working there are very friendly and always ready to help. There is a huge choice of food which is very tasty.

Check in was a little bit slow.

Amazing and very relaxing stay!

The property is spectacular! The architecture, lighting, infinity pools everything. And Mr Hanna, the manager, went out of his way to make us feel welcome and relaxed. Despite being responsible for the entire property he gave us a lot of personal attention. It's super value for money, and there is a lot more than advertised on booking.com. There are 3 sister resorts, all of which are accessible and free of cost (drinks, food and facilities). The resort itself has 6 different restaurants all of which were included. We were spoilt for choice. There is also gelatarias, coffees shops, salons and multiple shops within the venue, so there is always a lot to explore and do. Best for last, the room was massive and exceptionally comfortable!

The drinks in the afternoon were not the best, the evening drink bars offered much more variety and better quality. The pool and jacuzzi weren't heated.

Beautiful and amazing food!

Absolutely beautiful resort with great food and friendly staff. Hanna in particular went above and beyond for us and made our experience very special. We would stay here again in a heart beat.

Beach is not a white sand beach so keep this in mind though it is not the fault of the resort, just the Makadi area is like this!

Great stay

The location was amazing and all staff were helpful and respectful. Mr Hanna helped us to know and try new things and place there. The hotel was great and romantic. Food was also good in the hotel’s open buffet. Spa prices are a little bit pricy you have to bargain(reservations are not related to the hotel) We tried Asian restaurant the food was just perfect.

The room/suite amenities were a bite old and needs to be upgraded or need more maintenance especially the bathroom. You have to ask for toothbrush, toothpaste and loofah (not included in the room) and more of the shower gel in the room. Also no prayer mate or sign for Qibla in the room. We tried Greek restaurant food was good but the portion is small.

We just returned from an incredible stay at Makadi Spa on the Red Sea, and we can’t recommend it enough! From start to finish, the service was outstanding—every member of the team made us feel welcome, relaxed, and completely taken care of. The view from the hotel was absolutely breathtaking, with the shimmering Red Sea stretching endlessly before us. Snorkeling right off the shore was one of the highlights of our trip—the coral reefs were vibrant and teeming with marine life, making us feel like we were exploring another world. The whole atmosphere of the hotel felt like something out of a movie set, with its stunning architecture, peaceful ambiance, and picture-perfect surroundings. We left with unforgettable memories and can’t wait to return to this little slice of paradise.

The spa was too pushy on their sales.
